Welcome to Dreams of Machines. A social computing website, designed to be a collection of thoughts about AI and VR in popular media. The site contains articles, which review and discuss films, music, books, TV shows and just about anything else in the popular sphere which deals with the concepts of AI and VR.
My name is Danielle Silk and I am a student of Social Anthropology at the University of Kent, UK. This website is born out of my research on how people’s perceptions of AI and VR have been influenced by the media they have encountered. The project is part of my coursework for a Social Computing Module.
